Absolutely grateful I listened to this rather than reading it. Hearing the anguish in Anthony's voice as he tells of not only Jonathan's passing, but his mother's passing as well is both heartbreaking and beautiful. Hearing him talk about the workshop performance of Rent, then being asked back when it was to be off Broadway, then on Broadway, then filming the movie is thrilling. There were many moments I felt like he was in the room with me, accounting these stories to me as a friend.
Thank you, Anthony, for a beautiful work.
